Beyond Bridges

The picture above was taken by Eugene de Salignac who I only discovered this year through an article in the London Sunday Times (May 13th to be exact). When I looked it up on the web, - I found that The New Yorker had done an earlier piece on Eugene in February of this year. In a single image, the picture - taken in 1914 - seemed to encapsulate all that Beyond Bridges is about, so I thought I would share ...

  • The Bridge itself, without it you are stuck on your island, your understanding of what is possible
  • The Horizon Beyond, holding so much promise
  • The Network, to support you and get you to your destination
    and of course ...

  • The People, because it isn't just about process, data, technology, innovation .... it is about people.
